Alpha-One introduces 850nm high-power LED module for IR illuminators

As a light source for long-distance surveillance system, Alpha-One introduced super-beam high power LED module which has 3 series LED with the originally developed optical lens.
AIR/14-3 series is a super beam Infrared LED module with RoHS compliant designed and developed with 3 pcs of high power LED with the originally developed optical lens. In this sense, the irradiated light is well-controlled, and the highest optical power is realized.
It is also featured by its low forward voltage (VF=Typ. 1.55V at IF=100mA) in spite of such an extremely high radiant intensity.
The installed lens which was developed with the original optical technology was adopted in order to irradiate for a long distance, and so, the extremely strong and well-controlled beam light （θ1/2 ±3.5°）can be obtained.
It is suitable and more convenient for a light source not only for surveillance system in the field of security and traffic, but also in different tasks such as spatial data communication system, medical instruments, analyzers, measuring instruments and so forth especially the ones that require a long-distance and super-beam irradiation.
AIRP850P1/14-3 is a LED module with λP 850nm. The radiant intensity of each LED at DC operation is extremely high and 1.7W/sr (IF=100mA), and as a module, the intensity would be up to approx. 5.0W/sr (IF=100mA).
The one with λP940nm (AIRD940P1/14-3) on which 1*1mm high power LED chip is installed is also available. It features ±9°of the viewing angle and 450mW/sr (IF=100mA) of the radiant intensity.
