AirLED-18 for La Zarzuela by Barquero in Madrid Date Announced: 05 Apr 2011 What a privilege it is to be sitting inside "Teatro De La Zarzuela" the oldest opera theatre in Madrid, from 200 years ago to stage "Luisa Fernanda".
The used of 200 sqm of AirLED-18, an 18mm pixel pitch LED display system, to make a 3-D structured LED back drop with 3 layers in-depth and moving doors, enabling the re-enactment of virtual reality scenes of rustic 18th Century Spanish Villages and houses, farms, forest and night skies....
Altogether 7 screens, each about 780 Kg using the latest CreateLED AirLEDs...
The orchestra is in front of the stage to make accompanying music. "Watch Out" software system is used to create multi-layers of graphical painting and scenes...
These LED Props will be then taken down to be re-enacted in Berlin, Vienna, and other European Countries etc the rest of 2011 and next year!!
An Eye opener for us indeed and giving the audience a truly visual pleasure experience, transporting them back to Spain of the old....
