New consortium to drive standardization of a management software interface for managing outdoor lighting networks Date Announced: 26 Jun 2012 Some news update on the latest development into LED outdoor lighting network management system. A new consortium named TALQ Consortium is recently formed by worldwide leading industry players for establishing standardisation of management software interface and creating a common standardised platform for the control and monitoring of such system.
This consortium is formed for the standardisation of outdoor LED lighting management system interface is similar to the Zhaga Consortium formed for the standardisation of LED light engine interface.
Founders of the TALQ consortium consist of 6 companies from Harvard Engineering, Kingsun, Philips, Schréder, Streetlight.Vision and Thorn/Zumtobel.
