GE Tetra AL10 linear system offers LED color-rendering breakthrough
Date Announced: 03 Mar 2011
GE Lighting has announced a breakthrough in LED lighting with the addition of the Tetra AL10 system to its range of leading LED products. The new linear LED system combines versatility with a superb quality of light. High colour rendering (93 CRI) and stable colour temperatures enable specifiers to meet the highest performance levels.
Tetra AL10 has been designed to combine optimised quality of light with high efficiency and long life in a variety of applications including retail and architectural. The slim and modular fixture offers multiple lengths, optical distributions and colour temperatures to ensure it is easy to incorporate into a wide array of lighting designs.
The industry-leading CRI of 93 is combined with a system efficacy of 47 lumens per watt, with optical precision in beam angles of 60, 90 and 120 degrees. This enables retail shelf displays to stand out from the ambient environment, with the optical control enabling superb energy saving thanks to all of the emitted light being effectively utilised.
In architectural applications such as cove lighting, excellent cost of ownership savings are possible versus a variety of traditional lighting technologies such as fluorescent, cold cathode and halogen.
The Tetra AL10 system is slimline, easy to install and simple to maintain with a long rated life of 50,000 hours.
