Fast-curing conformal coating features superior component and sharp lead coverage

DYMAX Multi-Cure® 9-20557 cures in seconds upon exposure to UV/Visible light and is designed for rapid conformal coating of printed circuit boards and other electronic assemblies. This product is specially formulated to remain on the edges of difficult-to-wet components and sharp leads. It has a secondary heat-cure feature which allows the coating to cure with heat in applications where shadowed areas exist.
Multi-Cure® 9-20557 has been optimized for coating thicknesses between 51 mic [0.002 in] and 510 mic [0.020 in]. This medium-viscosity material, designed to enhance wetting of leads, is compatible with most types of spray equipment. The low modulus of 9-20557 allows it to excel in coating applications where thermal shock performance is critical.
DYMAX light-curable conformal coatings eliminate many of the time-consuming process steps required by traditional thermal-cure and room-temperature-cure conformal coatings. With DYMAX conformal coatings, there is often no need to rack or dry boards after applying the coating. All coating applied to the board remains on the board, there is no flash off or evaporation required. The coating is applied, cured, and the product is immediately ready for shipment.
Multi-Cure® 9-20557 is a solvent-free conformal coating containing no VOCs, eliminating the need for solvent handling while enhancing worker safety and minimizing environmental impact. Each conformal coating is one part (no mixing required) for easy dispensing. This product is isocyanate free, IPC-CC-830 approved, MIL-I-46058 listed, and UL recognized.
