U.S. Architectural Lighting's Versalux outdoor LED fixture leverages modular optics
April 15, 2014
Versalux LED, an energy-saving outdoor lighting fixture for public areas, is now available from U.S. Architectural Lighting. The luminaire offers a range of mounting options, including arm, post top, canopy and wall mount.
Versalux LED features the company’s exclusive VLED Optical Module®, a system offering modular interchangeability to meet site-specific design criteria. The modules are available in 64-, 80- and 120-LED packages with wattages from 70W to 260W and lumen output from 5,100 to 19,200 lumens.
Versalux VLED optics are available in Type II, III, IV and V-Sq with both full range and switch-controlled hi/lo dimming options.
Optimal thermal control is achieved through the luminaire’s unique housing design. Slotted vents create convection currents that lower the fixture’s internal temperature, increasing the life and lumen output of the LEDs.
The heavy-walled unitized cast-aluminum housing provides durable performance even in the harshest environment. An electrostatically-applied polyester powder coat finish is baked at 400° for maximum hardness and durability.
Standard textured finishes include black, white, grey, dark bronze and green. Custom colors are available.
