The minimalist aesthetic of the Palladiom™ QS keypad adds subtle elegance and architectural design to any space at a desirable price point.

Coopersburg, PA – Lutron Electronics, the leader in energy-saving, wireless lighting and shade control, has unveiled its latest innovation in product design - the Palladiom QS keypad. The Palladiom QS keypad provides a beautiful architectural aesthetic with a sleek, minimalist design that complements any décor. The keypad is available with a variety of customization options and is versatile enough for any building controls project - including high-end residences, hotel guest rooms and high-end commercial applications in restaurants, retail spaces, ballrooms and conference rooms.

Known for its timeless aesthetics and innovative designs, Lutron evaluated thousands of prototypes over the course of many years to develop the Palladiom QS keypad. The result is a clean and sleek keypad that is the first of its kind to feature flush buttons and faceplates made of the same material – plastic, glass or metal – for a coordinated aesthetic. Its customizable button layout and programming accommodates virtually any function. Palladiom is simple to operate and in homes, works with Lutron’s HomeWorks® QS total home building controls system. Commercially, the product works with Lutron’s Quantum® total light management system, and the new myRoom™ hospitality guestroom solution. Featuring large, tactile buttons with backlit, engraved text, Palladiom is easy to find in a darkened room. Its backlight intensity can be adjusted for personal preference or dynamically change its light level based on the time of day. “Lutron transformed the lighting control industry in 2001 when we first launched the seeTouch® keypad, which quickly became the de facto standard across residential and commercial lighting,” said Olivier Perrigueur, Vice President - Global Specifications and Business Development at Lutron Electronics. “With Palladiom, we are elevating the user experience with an understated design that is sure to complement any space.” The Palladiom QS keypad for building controls is available in a variety of aesthetic options to suit a wide range of applications. Offered in 10 Architectural Matte plastic finishes, 11 Architectural metals, and one white glass finish, as well as U.S.-style (rectangular) and international styles (square), Palladiom is ideal for any application where a clean keypad design is desired. Standard and custom engraving options are available and field-replaceable buttons allow for customization in the field. The Palladiom QS keypad will begin shipping globally on July 1st, 2015.
