HessAmerica launches Linea S LED bollard, will display at LightFair

HessAmerica introduces Linea S — a new addition to the architecturally-designed family of bollard, pole and wall-mount luminaires. Product Applications: The Linea S is suitable for use in a wide variety of architectural applications including pedestrian and cultural areas; corporate campuses; luxury condominiums; and upscale retail and hospitality venues. Product Description: A slender profile and well-proportioned styling exemplify Linea S. Its compact LED light engine allows for a minimalist design, creating a bollard with excellent illumination characteristics tailored to pedestrian scale spaces. Linea S is available in a single configuration for perimeter mounted applications. It may also be specified as a twin-mount for installation within interiors of open areas, or median mounted pedestrian pathways. It is available in three heights of 36”, 30”, and 24”. Linea S employs an LED light engine consisting of three multi-chip arrays with prismatic lensing to produce uniform illumination of pathways. The LEDs are available in warm or neutral color temperatures with a CRI greater than 80. The luminaire emits zero uplight and may be used in all LEED lighting zones and Dark Sky applications. Power consumption is 16 watts. Linea S is fabricated from high quality, rectangular profile aluminum extrusion showing no visible welds. Design details include a flangeless shaft with concealed mounting to deliver a minimal footprint. All hardware is stainless steel. Standard finishes are finely textured matte silver grey metallic, dark grey, or graphite grey. Special colors are available on request. The Linea product family includes pole mounted luminaires in several heights with single, twin, or bi-level mounting configurations, a wall luminaire, and a larger high performance bollard for applications requiring path of egress, or for high ambient light environments. Construction & Finishes: Linea S is fabricated from 6061 extruded aluminum with a rectangular cross section of 6" x 2". The single piece bollard shows no visible welds. Linea S is available in 36", 30" and 24" overall heights. The bollard may be specified with single or twin heads. Optics for the Linea S consists of three multi-chip arrays with prismatic lensing to produce a uniform asymmetric light distribution. Color temperatures may be 3000K or 4000K with a CRI greater than 80. The high power factor LED driver accepts input voltage from 120v through 277v at 50/60hz. Power consumption is 16 watts. Optional 0-10vDC dimming capability is available on request. The flangeless bollard shaft slips over an integral tenon on the installation plate and is secured with stainless steel tamper-proof hardware to provide a stable mounting platform for the luminaire. Hardware for the installation plate includes hex nuts and washers for leveling and fastening, as well as three ½” hot-dip galvanized anchor bolts for embedment into a concrete foundation provided by others. Standard colors are finely textured matte silver grey metallic, dark grey, or graphite grey. Special colors are available on request.
