Venture Lighting introduces LED luminaires with integrated driver technology that operate directly from mains supply
April 22, 2015
Venture Lighting has introduced a comprehensive range of LED luminaires with enhanced longevity and reliability with their latest VLED Integrated Driver Technology (IDT) system for floodlights, industrial and street lighting schemes.
This latest system is operated directly from the mains supply without the requirement of a separate driver. The advanced technology of the IDT system helps to increase the life of the LED luminaires as there is no driver to fail before the 50,000 hour LED life.
Comprised of individual 30W VLED modules, the IDT LED luminaires are available from 30W to 180W and as a narrow, medium or wide beam angle. The highly efficient LEDs result in significant energy and money savings.
Venture Lighting’s new range includes VLED Highbay and Lowbay IDT systems for warehousing and other industrial applications, as well as a VLED floodlight, all available with optics for a 15°, 30° or 60° light distribution angle depending on the requirements of the application. The integrated driver technology and modular design of these LED luminaires make them particularly suitable for these schemes as they can be built to produce a variety of lighting levels, which is often a requirement for applications which demand a lot of fixtures or powerful light. The lack of driver means that the fittings are easy to install and require very little maintenance, minimising any unnecessary disruption to the work flow within warehouses and factories or down time of crucial outside lighting.
The industrial, slim-line design of the LED luminaires incorporates a smart heat-sink for optimised thermal management to prevent the LEDs from deteriorating due to overheating. The fixture has been designed and tested to tolerate maximum debris without damaging the heat dissipation and consequently maintaining the efficiency and life of the luminaire even in the most demanding of applications. The VLED modules are also IP65 rated, meaning they are fully protected from dust and water, making them an ideal lighting fixture for a wide range of environment conditions.
The IDT VLED systems have a Colour Rendering Index (CRI) of 80 at a colour temperature of 5700K, producing a bright, cool-white light, with other colour temperatures available on request. This high-quality light is excellent for reproducing the accurate colour of objects as seen under natural daylight.
