Lumenpulse's Lumenbeam LBX HO LED luminaire named 2015 Light Middle East Outdoor Lighting Product of the Year
Oct. 22, 2015
Lumenpulse (TSX: LMP), a leading manufacturer of high-performance, specification-grade LED lighting solutions, is proud to announce that its Lumenbeam LBX HO LED luminaire has won the 2015 Light Middle East Award for Outdoor Lighting Product of the Year. The rugged, high-output LED luminaire, the latest addition to the acclaimed Lumenbeam family, beat out two other finalists for the honor.
"We’re very proud to have won the Light Middle East Award for Outdoor Product of the Year,” said Francois-Xavier Souvay, Founder, President, and CEO of Lumenpulse. "The Lumenbeam LBX HO equips lighting designers and architects with the power to light and accentuate the architecture of tall structures, while giving property owners the durability and sustainability they need. That versatility and practicality is a guiding principal for all Lumenpulse products and we’re happy to have been recognized for it,” he said.
Launched in early 2015, the Lumenbeam LBX HO LED luminaire was designed to light multi-storey facades and tall structures. The luminaire delivers up to 656,461 candela at nadir (10,447 lumens), and is noted for its slim form factor, long lifetime, and options, including optics for flood or accent lighting, and a choice of color temperatures and colors. The Lumenbeam LBX HO LED luminaire has been specified for a number of high-profile projects around the world, including the New England Aquarium in Boston, Massachusetts; the Åre Ski Resort in Åre, Sweden; and the Notre-Dame Basilica in Montreal, Quebec.
“The Light Middle East Award is further confirmation of the uniqueness of our products and their ability to enhance and maximize both the beauty and functionality of structures and spaces,” said Marc Filion, Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer at Lumenpulse. “But it also speaks to Lumenpulse’s growing presence in the Middle East, and our continued commitment to lighting specifers in the region,” he said.
The 2015 Light Middle East Awards, the third edition of the awards, brought together over 400 lighting professionals from across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. The ceremony and gala dinner were held on October 8th at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre.
