Osram Sylvania is expanding its first-to-market Sylvania Contractor Series LED Portfolio, a robust family that includes high-quality lighting solutions that are rated up to 11,000 hours (L70) at cost-effective price points for practically any socket. Contractor Series products reduce energy and maintenance costs and have the traditional shape and deliver the superior glow that end users know and enjoy, making them a great replacement of traditional lighting. New is the Sylvania Integrated Bulb and Trim which inexpensively updates the look of recessed lighting in a single solution. Installation is as simple as installing a regular lamp since it has a fully enclosed medium base connection and there are no loose wires. Available in 2700K, the 4 inch and 6 inch versions deliver 500 and 800 lumens respectively, and are dimmable down to 10 percent.
The full Sylvania Contractor Series was on display and includes 40W, 60W, 75W and 100W replacement A19 LED lamps; solutions for track lighting such as R20 (dimmable), MR16, PAR16, PAR20, PAR30, PAR30LN and PAR38 LED lamps; and dimmable BR30 and BR40 lamps and RT5/6 LED Recessed Downlight Kits for ceiling cans in various color temperatures. For outdoor applications, the BR30, PAR20, PAR30LN and PAR38 LED lamps are UL-listed for use in damp locations, and the RT5/6 kits are suitable for dry, damp and wet locations.
The company also unveilied the Sylvania ULTRA HO LED Night and Day A19 Lamp which allows the management of blue light exposure from low to high with a flick of an ON/OFF wall/lamp switch. Without needing a wireless device or dimmer, it helps promotes natural sleep via “Night” mode delivering 400 lumens at 2000K and natural awareness via “Day” mode delivering 800 lumens at 6500K. The classic form fits anywhere a standard A19 fits, uses only 9W and has a rated rate of 15,000 hours (L70).
Osram Sylvania is also announcing that the Universal input, 700 lumen version of the Sylvania ULTRA RT6 HO LED Recessed Downlight Kit is now phase cut dimmable on both 120 and 277V, allowing dimming in applications that currently are not dimmable without needing additional wiring. Available now, this energy-efficient replacement for pin base CFL and medium base downlights is ETL Classified and ETL Listed under 1598 and 1598C, qualifying it as a standalone fixture.
Ideal for hospitality, residential and retail applications, the Energy Star rated Sylvania ULTRA LED Glass PAR Family offers an innovative LED lamp with a true glass body and full optics that mimic traditional lamps. They have specifications that match halogen lamps, making them ideal for re-lamping installations when traditional products reach end of life. Additions to the portfolio being announced at LIGHTFAIR include PAR16 and PAR30SN lamps. Benefits include being able to be used in indoor and outdoor fixtures, and that the form factor eases Phase In Phase Out for distributors. Osram Sylvania is also bringing the benefits of its aesthetically pleasing, glass form factor to its industry recognized ULTRA LED™ MR16 portfolio. New Sylvania ULTRA LED MR16 Glass Lamps will be available in 2700K and 3000K and 25 and 35 degree beam angles. ULTRA LED Glass PAR and MR16 Lamps have a rated life of up to 25,000 hours (L70), and are UL wet or damp rated, dimmable, and being tested for Energy Star certification to make them eligible for utility rebates, which can further increase ROI.
