Date Announced: 28 Apr 2011 AxiomLED announced the upcoming release of a line of power supplies for the Canadian market. Input 300-440 Volts AC, 47-63Hz or 400-620Volt DC input. The initial 120 Watt version will have an output of 24 Volts DC to be used with AxiomLED new ultra high brightness LED systems for signage, lighting, warehouse lighting, and parking lot lights.347 Volts AC is a common industrial voltage in the Canadian market."We continue to make sure we are listening to customer problems and try to develop solutions that make their life easier," stated Chris Peng, Chief Technology Officer and Co-Founder of AxiomLED. "Our line of 90-277VAC power supplies are used all over the world and have proven to be the most reliable and lowest cost. We are now going to develop lines of power supplies that address other issues like Canadian industrial voltage ranges."The HP120-A24 has a power factor of 0.90 minimum at 50-100% load, with input current of 0.5 Amps maximum at 313 Volts AC input and 0.3 Amps at 418 Volts AC input at 100 Watt load condition.AxiomLED also announced that it will be introducing a 12 Volt DC output range as well for use with its popular AXLE5-SW65 LED module line. The HP120 Series power supplies will be available for sampling by summer 2011.Product Information: http://www.axiomled.com/AxiomLED/Power_Supplies.html"We solved some very interesting application problems in New Zealand with the introduction of our line of 5 Foot LED tubes that require no rewiring, no electrician, and reduce power by 50%," commented Manuel Lynch, CEO and Co-Founder of AxiomLED. "We continue to push the power density, highest efficiency, and lowest cost solution model."AxiomLED also sees the use of its HP120 series in hydro-electric generation plant lighting for high input DC voltage applications. The companies upcoming high bay LED lighting systems replace fluorescent lighting and operate directly off high voltage DC sources up to 620 Volts DC.
