LEDFlex are celebrating after their successful series of collaborative events with the IALD at this year’s Light + Building. The large-scale industry exhibition, which made a welcome return for 2022, was attended by thousands from the global lighting community, celebrating all that the industry has to offer.
LEDFlex and the IALD partnered to host a variety of exciting and well-attended events over the course of Light + Building. These included an exclusive cocktail reception for the lighting design community, and a dedicated programme of talks within the LEDFlex Speakers Lounge. These talks featured renowned and emerging designers as keynote speakers. As well as these events, the exhibition was an opportunity for manufacturers to showcase their latest innovations.
On the exterior of the stand, LEDFlex showcased various innovation pods that educated visitors about the company’s extensive portfolio along with its applications. These vary from minimal and sleek optical technology, to wall washing and grazing, exterior architectural applications and highly customisable and durable solutions.
On the interior of the stand, a space dedicated to private events, LEDFlex created interactive installations featuring dual bend solutions; Flexi Grazer 3D, which offers a flawless wall washing effect, and Ultimo Neon 3D, which provides a horizontal and vertical bend for exterior architectural applications. This was alongside the Rigid Grazer Maxi, which illuminated the gauze panels with refined wall washing and diffused surface grazing.
Creating drama and theatrics was the brand’s pixel-controlled façade wall, featuring the LEDFlex Neon 16 Silicone Pixel TV, with changing scenes and a truly dynamic lighting display.
Antony Kerr, Director of Business Development said “We had a phenomenal time at Light + Building, and it was an unparalleled experience from start to finish. We could not be happier with the success of the exhibition and our engagement activities. We had a fantastic time not only attending but hosting the cocktail reception and talks programme in collaboration with the IALD.
“It was a strong and successful return for Light + Building and we look forward to the future of the event in the coming years. Feedback from the show has been overwhelmingly positive and we cannot thank everyone enough for visiting us. Stay tuned for more exciting news and to find out what’s next on the LEDFlex journey.”
