UV10TKLO-2: Used to Adhere Mirrors in a Kirkpatrick-Baez Microscope to Image X-ray Emissions During Deuterium-Tritium Implosions

Sept. 9, 2024

Overview

Master Bond UV10TKLO-2 is a one-component UV-curable system for high-performance bonding, sealing, and encapsulation applications. It meets NASA’s specifications (ASTM E-595) for low outgassing and can be readily cured using UV light at room temperature. Due to its low outgassing, UV10TKLO-2 is suitable for use in applications that involve the use of a vacuum, including optical equipment such as Kirkpatrick–Baez (KB)–type X-ray microscopes to measure the performance of a fuel used in nuclear fusion.1
