Oscar Wong, who, prior to his current role as general manager of GE Lighting China, was Vice President of Pall Industrial Group in China, will be given the position of President & CEO of GE Asia Lighting effective November 1, 2012.

Wong, who graduated in 1985 from the University of Wales, UK with a Bachelor degree in Industrial Engineering, worked for GE Intelligent Platforms Greater China in 2006, leaving for his position at Pall Industrial Group in 2010. Prior to working with GE, Wong was Business Director for Emerson Electric Process Management for 12 years. Wong returned to GE in July of 2012.
Mohamed Butt, the current President & CEO of GE Lighting Asia, will become President & CEO of GE Transportation - China & South East Asia.
