Ron Lenk
Ron Lenk has a physics degree from MIT and 30 years experience in the field of power electronics and systems. He is recognized as an authority in the field. Ron played a key role in the development of the power system for the International Space Station, and has also worked in commercial and military arenas. He worked at Advance Transformer (Phillips) where he developed one of the earliest electronic ballasts for fluorescent tubes. Ron has spent the last 10 years working on LEDs, including designing IC drivers and applications. With his wife Carol, he co-founded and was CEO of SuperBulbs, now known as Switch Lighting. Ron is a Senior Member of the IEEE, has 24 issued patents. Ron is presently consulting on LED drivers, and is interested in hearing from anyone with a challenging design problem.
