Bob Zona is Director of Strategic Marketing for Philips Lumileds. He is responsible for future roadmap planning and new product definition. Bob has been responsible for defining many products introduced by Lumileds including LUXEON S, LUXEON K and LUXEON COB. He has an electrical engineering background with experience in fiber optics communications and microwave frequency electronics. Prior to joining Philips Lumileds, Bob was the Director of Marketing for Intel’s Optical Platform Division where he was responsible for the groups marketing and strategic product planning.
