Citizen will present its next-generation high power COB LED at Light+Building 2016

At this year's Light+Building in Frankfurt Citizen Electronics will present a next-generation of high power COB and new applications of COB LED.

CITILED COB Series
- Standard Type Ver.5
Standard type Ver.5 is an internationally recognized product, usable in various applications from outdoor to indoor solid-state lighting. The lineup features various colors and wide luminous flux range for each package structure, and higher drive current. The package outline has remained the same since version 1 of the product, and a large selection of solutions like optical parts and connectors is available.

The new COB LED has improved thermal resistance (35% reduction) and lumen density. A new lineup of packages is added.

- CLU550
CLU550 is a world class high power COB LED (500W). Max luminous flux is 71,000lm @5,000K 70 CRI minimum. CLU550 can be driven with two channels independently to use a variety of drivers. The outline is same size as the CLU05x to use peripheral parts for CLU05x (e.g. connectors). A wide range of color lineup is prepared for matching up with many applications, especially for use in outdoor luminaires.

CITILED VIVID Series
- High Intensity Type
Citizen Electronics focuses on superior light quality. The CITILED VIVID Series COB LED packages can make objects appear more vivid for more brilliant and attractive display by Citizen Electronics' developed spectrum tuning technology.
The High Intensity Type can illuminate with narrow light distribution, and it is suitable for spotlighting of show windows and display lighting.

- SMD Type
The SMD Type can broaden the possibilities of the CITILED VIVID Series for use in many kinds of display lighting for show windows like shelf lighting.
