In this News & Insights edition, we sadly say goodbye to our former editor, Maury Wright, upon receiving the news of his passing. In our featured article, I'm celebrating his life with much appreciation of the time we worked together, during which we got to know each other well.

Since publishing this tribute yesterday, we've received a number of lovely remembrances and condolences from industry colleagues, former co-workers, and LEDs Magazine contributors who connected with Maury over the years.

I am so touched to know that many considered him an industry leader but even more than that: a kind and thoughtful person who enjoyed interacting with and learning from everyone across the LED and lighting marketplace. That, above all, is the resounding impression he has left behind.
