Lighting distributor organization NAILD introduces ‘Forces Under 40’ Awards, seeks nominations

Oct. 4, 2016
Nominations are now open to recognize young, dynamic leaders in the lighting industry as Forces Under 40, the National Association of Innovative Lighting Distributors (NAILD) announced.

Both NAILD members and non-members are eligible for nomination.

“This is a time of immense innovation in lighting and more young professionals are joining our industry,” said Becky Phillips, NAILD president. “We are introducing our first Forces Under 40 Awards to recognize the next generation of rising stars in the industry.”

NAILD’s new program will shine a spotlight on the up-and-coming leaders in the industry under the age of 40. Help identify 2016’s most accomplished young lighting professionals by nominating someone with whom you have worked first-hand. Nominations are due to NAILD headquarters by Oct. 24.

Those recognized as Forces Under 40 will be publicly honored at the 2017 NAILD Conference, Feb. 19-22 in Orlando, Florida, in a special print supplement in Today’s Lighting Distributor magazine, in a press release and on NAILD’s social media channels.

Nominations should include details about your work with the nominee, the nominee’s experience, project achievements, business and professional accolades and speaking engagements.
