I am admittedly a sucker for surveys and polls. I find the ones that give you responsive output immediately to be especially fun, seeing in real time what responses add up with your own perceptions — and which ones are surprising to you. It’s been a while since we used a Google poll on our website, so I thought it was about time we kicked a topic over for your input.
Soon I will have another insider look at the Strategies in Light conference program from co-chair Clifton Stanley Lemon (who is going above and beyond, by the way, so if you’re in touch with Clifton, please give him a verbal high five). During planning, I noticed the upcoming panel on the program titled “HCL Gets Real: Moving Forward with Integrative Lighting,” and I thought, “Huh, there’s that term again.” But if I am being honest with you all, and I usually am, I don’t really have a firm grasp on what that means. Which makes me wonder if you find yourself in the same situation — hence the poll! I think it would be eye-opening to see how pervasive this term and the topic itself is with our readership. It could even open the door to some great questions and commentary with the panelists during the virtual event.
So please indulge me on this Friday with perhaps 180 seconds of your time (not counting this reading, you sticklers). Thank you!
