Date Announced: 01 Mar 2012 Saginaw, Michigan/USA – Fullerton Tool Company, a leader in precision-made solid carbide cutting tools, has released new prices on general purpose metric carbide end mills and certain carbide reamer services to further streamline their goal of maintaining competitive pricing while presenting the fastest lead times in the industry for solid carbide cutting tools.In a continuing effort to be more competitive in the world market, Fullerton Tool has announced a price reduction in its general purpose metric carbide end mills. This immediate price reduction affects the 9200, 9200B, 9200R, 9200XL, 9200XLB, 9215, 9215B, 9215XL, 9215XLB, 9300, and 9300B series’ and their TiAlN coated counterparts.After reviewing the metric pricing, they determined that the prices were inconsistent with comparable imperial unit based carbide end mills. Fullerton Tool believes that by reducing these prices, they can take on a larger market share with their high quality "commodity" line of carbide end mills. Fullerton Tool would also like to take this time to announce an increase in a limited amount of their popular carbide reamer service items. After reviewing pricing, it has been determined that the 1450 series (sizes .1595 - .5054) carbide reamer service prices are undervalued. Therefore, as of April 1, 2012, Fullerton Tool will slightly increase the pricing for these 12 items.The general stocking of HSS Burr items will also be discontinued due to low volume sales. These products represent a very small percentage of our total sales and it is anticipated this decision will have little to no effect on the majority of the customer base. While Fullerton Tool will no longer be stocking these items on the shelves, they will be able to provide these items on an individual quote basis, provided a specified minimum order is met. This will also be effective April 1, 2012.
