Cezos unveils LEDEMITY®, an LED-based MR 16 replacement

Date Announced: 10 Apr 2006 Cezos, a company known since 1980 as a traditional lamp producer as well as a lamp components distributor, in March 2006 has put into production an MR16 bulb LEDEMITY® where the source of light is multicolor diodes.The basis of success for our new and innovate product is the use of the highest quality diodes LED Luxeon 3x1W, high efficiency front lens compiled especially for this model by one of leading optics designer LEDIL, thermal solution made by Berquist and our own design of electronic circuit for power supply.LEDEMITY® LED single color unit contains 3 Luxeon 1W LEDs in a plastic-aluminum housing for use in MR16 fittings. The LEDEMITY ® MR16 -3x1 W LED single color can be driven by any 12V transformer and is available in 6 LED colors options.LEDEMITY® MR16 bulb has many advantages. First of all it saves electrical power in comparison with traditional bulbs. LEDEMITY® MR16 3x1W needs only 150 kW during an operating life of 50,000 hours. That attribute makes our bulb a perfect product for use in illumination of hotels, restaurants, houses, gardens, swimming pools, cinemas and galleries.Secondly, its compact size and low heat emission is also an advantage.
