Lasalle, QC Canada (August 22, 2024) Axis Lighting is launching MikroLite for Sculpt and Stencil, providing designers and architects even greater flexibility, scalability, and diversity. With two new baffle shapes, two distinct optic options, and multiple beam angles, MikroLite delivers exceptional performance without compromising style. Crafted with upscale, highly aesthetic optics and a stunning array of nine high-quality finishes, MikroLite elevates any space it illuminates. Designed to reduce glare while still being an aesthetic, high-efficacy lighting system, all configurations achieve UGR<19 with options that are UGR<5.
Optics
MikroLite offers two distinct cell optics. The TIR (total internal reflection) optic brings the light source closer to the opening of the fixture providing a sharp, focused beam of light with a pleasing presence. The reflector optic keeps the light source deep in the cell for a quiet soft beam with exceptionally low glare. Each optic has a variety of beam angles from which to choose to precisely tailor the illuminated environment, ranging from broad, ambient lighting for environments such as office or educational settings, or focused task lighting for hospitality.
MikroLite cells can be seamlessly integrated with a variety of standard lens options and accent spots to create a lighting solution tailored to any design. Use blanks to maintain a consistent look where illumination isn't required. With 1-cell increments and fixtures specifiable to 1/32nd of an inch, MikroLite can be configured to any length needed.
Sculpt MikroLite
Crafted for both functionality and aesthetics, Sculpt MikroLite offers three unique baffle shapes and four different beam angles, ensuring versatility to suit any environment. Designed to be discreet yet visually stunning, Sculpt MikroLite boasts nine high-quality finishes to customize the lighting to seamlessly integrate with the space. With continuous runs with one-cell (1.45”) increments and the option for 90-degree continuous cell corners, design possibilities are limitless. Further customize the design by combining MikroLite cells with other standard Sculpt lens options or accent spotlights.
Stencil MikroLite
Available in 1” (Stencil Pendant) and 1.25” (Stencil Surface, Slate 1 and StencilFlex) widths, Stencil MikroLite can be configured in continuous runs with 12 cell increments or ordered in preconfigured layouts. On the Slate 1, MikroLite can be combined with Axis Lighting’s spotless flush lens and accents to achieve visually stunning lighting with minimum glare. With two new modern baffle designs and 9 high-quality finishes, Stencil MikroLite seamlessly integrates with the architectural environment and elevates the design aesthetic.
