HaikuTech launches additive manufacturing system for ceramic-coated MCPCBs used in high-power SSL design
Sept. 13, 2016
Produce your own ceramic coated metal substrates with outstanding heat dissipation and dielectric strength. An additive direct printing technology of conductive copper or silver traces reduces your cost by some 50%. In-house manufacturing further reduces lead-times and increases production flexibility.
Additive printing technology with a 4 step process till finished light engine requires only a low investment compared to conventional PCBs. Fully in-house production capability is now within reach with an excellent ROI due low investment. The ecological printing technology produces no waste as there is no etching involved. The tools for this technology were developed with Government support awarded by the United States Department of Energy.
