GlacialPower's GP-LE100N 100W LED driver supports signage and strip light applications
Aug. 26, 2016
Taipei Taiwan - GlacialPower, a division of LED technology manufacturer GlacialTech Inc., is pleased to introduce the GP-LE100N, a new 100 Watt DC LED driver suitable for LED strip light, LED signage and moving sign applications. Two product variants are available, the GP-LE100N-12V, with a 12V DC output and maximum rated power of 102 W, and the GP-LE100N-24, with a 24V DC output and maximum rated power of 100 W. The GP-LE100N is suitable for exterior or interior usage, with a fully isolated plastic case that is IP67 rated for environmental protection from rain, water and dust.
This rugged, reliable and efficient LED driver comes with full thermal and electrical safety features. The GP-LE100N is the newest member of GlacialPower's range of LED signage drivers, which also includes the lower-wattage GP-LE36N and GP-LE60N.
A versatile and efficient LED signage driver
The GP-LE100N supports a very wide AC input voltage range from 90 up to 264 VAC for use worldwide, and also accepts AC frequencies from 47 up to 63 Hz. This driver offers constant voltage mode. The driver's typical efficiency with a 230 VAC input is 83 percent for the 12V version of the product, and 86 percent for the 24V version.
Rugged and safe power supply for LED signs
The GP-LE100N is reliable and durable. In addition to IP67 protection, other features that ensure a long, safe, maintenance-free lifetime include Over-Voltage Protection (OVP), Over-Load Protection (OLP), Over-Temperature Protection (OTP), and Short-Circuit Protection (SCP).
Prolong the life of your LED lights
The GP-LE100N offers high output voltage quality that protects your valuable LED lights from the harm caused by power fluctuations and also ensures an optimal lighting effect from your LED signs and decor – with no unwanted flickering or shifts in luminance. GlacialPower designed the GP-LE100N to provide optimal electrical stability, with negligible ripple in the clean, stable output voltage, and noise levels maintained at less than 150mVpp. The high output voltage quality makes sure your LEDs reach their full lifetime, cutting maintenance and replacement costs – a particular benefit for expensive custom-built LED signage that may be mounted in locations that are difficult to access. Users will also find the GP-LE100N is highly responsive at switch on: at 230 VAC and full load, the start up time will not exceed one second.
Features:
Universal AC input 90 to 264 VAC.
Class 2 power supply unit.
Fully isolated plastic case.
Constant Voltage mode.
Protections: OLP, SCP, OTP, OVP.
IP67 rated for indoor and outdoor installation.
Suitable for use in LED strip lights, LED signage and moving signs.
