Thomas Research Products introduces new 5.5-in. LED light engines

Elgin, Illinois ---Thomas Research Products has introduced an additional series of linear light engine modules designed for OEMs. New 5.5" modules complement the company's LED light engines and comprehensive line of LED drivers. Thomas Research Products manufactures complete LED power and control solutions for OEMs and retrofitters.

TRP's new modules are optimized for use in conjunction with the company's existing linear 11" and 22" engines for a greater variety of applications. Using the same circuit design makes them easy to use in tandem. They can also be utilized individually for small luminaires. TRP linear light engines are engineered for troffer applications, whether retrofit or new manufacturing.

Depending on the model, these new light engines provide color temperature options from 2700K to 5000K, with 83 CRI or better. They offer high lumen output using TRP's standard 350mA or 700mA LED drivers, depending on configuration.

TRP's LED light engines are designed to be "off-the-shelf standard," making them easy for OEMs to drop into a wide variety of existing luminaire designs. These products were developed with the company's Norlux brand custom LED engineering and manufacturing services. The light engines are made in the USA.
